That is definitely a question that has been floating around in our heads the past 2 weeks. The Ethiopian courts reopened last Monday, YEAH!!!!, and since then there have been so many referrals, I've lost count. I think it is like 10 or 11....in 2 weeks!!! So we keep praying that our phone call will come, but we know that God has a plan for our family and we need to take this one day at a time. Can't say that has been easy though! Every evening when we pray for dinner, Scott or I pray that someone will call tomorrow and Elijah pipes in..."no God, today". I love his excitement. We know we are still around 45 on the wait list, but who knows actually how long it will be because we are accepting up to a 3 year old. I keep thinking that will make it sooner rather than later....but who knows?
Anywho, if anyone reads this, please add this to your everyday or every hour prayers...We so believe in the power of prayer and, like most of you know, waiting stinks!

I will keep you in prayer...there are those days when you think "Doesn't there have to be a 2 and 1/2 year old who is supposed to be my son/daughter?" It's hard to wait. I know a wait like this has to be especially tough since you have such a wide-age range. But I do know when you get that call it will be absolutely perfect and all make sense :) jeremiah 29:11

We are right behind you on "the list". We have been waiting 4 months today and are requesting a girl 0-3 years. It is tough! I too am trying to be patient and realize that we may have months to go. I would love to see some toddler referrals though. Keep your chin up - we are at least half way there!
I was thinking that we are meeting for the first time this weekend but I forgot that we met at that CHI meeting last fall for a few moments. Oh, time goes quickly but not quick enough when you are waiting for your referral call, for your court date, for travel...
again, praying for that call very SOON!
The waiting time is very hard, but, with the seasons changing, and Halloween then holidays coming up, heres to hoping it goes by very quickly!
